Hello, everyone...

I have a huge favor to ask of anyone in this community that would be willing to help me and out. To begin with, I should explain our situation first. Myself and Akkushisu (Seth) are currently engaged and wanting to get married and live together. However, I live in the UK and he lives in America... The problem here is that to immigrate to the United States, I need to be sponsored by someone who earns enough. Seth is disabled, and, although he earns enough to support himself and me, it's not enough to "legally" support me according to the federal government. *rolls eyes*

So, here is where the favor comes in. Before you ask, NO, I am NOT asking for money! What we need is someone to act as a co-sponsor. They would have to earn at least $18,212/year before taxes to be eligible (assuming they have no dependents that they're also supporting), and be an American citizen. The sponsor will not be required to support me in any way though. Once we're married, we'll be filing the forms so I can get a work permit while Seth looks into attending college. Basically, the co-sponsor would only be such in title alone. We would never ask them for any money! This isn't the only route we can go, so don't feel obligated to help out, only do so if you want to do something good for us... Rest assured, we would both be eternally grateful! Even if you can't act as a sponsor, please comment anyway! Just knowing that you care means just as much to us!
